Upholstery

• We re-upholster as well as make new upholstered furniture. Anything from a drop-in seat to a sofa.

• Using both traditional and modern techniques by an apprentice served traditional upholsterer. Upholstery is probably one of the most difficult of the furniture making skills for the novice to understand because so much of the work is covered over by fabric. A lot of effort goes into the preparation of the under-stuffings and stitching to create a firm base for the softer stuffing and fabric to fix to. This attention to detail will mean that the customer can be assured of a top quality finish. That will last considerably longer than inferior work.
